Step 1: Preparation
Clean the area around the scratch. If the scratch is very deep and you can see metal, apply primer/rust stopper and wait about 2-3 hours. Otherwise, no primer/rust stopper is required.
Step 2: Painting
Shake the paint bottle well to ensure thorough mixing (~1 minute). Unscrew the bottle and use a brush, or remove the cap and use a pen to paint over damaged areas.
Step 3: Remove excess paint
Remove excess paint with the included smoothing tool. Simply stamp the painted area with it. For long scratches – just sweep over the colors with the smoothing tool.
Enjoy the result!
A clear coat is not required for our paints. However, if you want to improve the result, you can use sandpaper and polishers to smooth out the colors even more (after 2-3 days).
